18th century three legged chair with curved three part arm constructed from ash and elm. 
Decorated with four carved splats and a curly frieze under the seat. The underside of the seat shows butterfly repairs to an old split. The piece came from Lockington Mill in Piddle Hinton, Dorset and may well be a locally made country chair and shows repairs and restoration over the years.

Measurements: 80 cm wide x 73 cm high to elbow; seat height 40 cm  (31" x 29" seat height 16")
