​After 28 years in the antiques business, Simon and Penny moved from East Anglia to the far west of Cornwall. They restored and converted an old barn into their home where they also have a holiday let which is tastefully furnished with antiques and Penny's art. Together they also restored a cottage in the pretty fishing port of Newlyn which is also a holiday let.

During their first few years Penny began her painting career and is now a successful land and seascape artist.

​She has her own studio gallery and has combined her art with the antiques in the new venture.
