A French provincial walnut chest of drawers in good original condition from the Louis XV period. These country made chests were copies of the more elegant commodes gracing the great palaces such as Versailles.  However they have a great charm of their own and were in chateaux all around France This one has all its original brass handles and escutcheons. It is pine lined and constructed with large hand made nails.  It would add a real presence to any room.
