Chess  table, in various cuts of yew wood. I believe the column is in fruitwood the top has dark and light squares of yew  and cross banded in laburnum. The legs are yew with dark and light veneered laburnum on them. This is a country piece probably  estate made. Good condition overall. Old worm treated .Dated around 1830
